Listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Russel Metals is one of the largest metals distribution and processing companies in North America servicing customers primarily in Canada and the United States. The company conducts business in three metals distribution segments: metals service centers, energy products and steel distributors.

Russel Metals is currently hiring a Programming Clerk at our Puslinch (24 Nicholas Beaver Road) Location.

This is a full-time, permanent job. Monday to Friday, daytime hours.

Position Requirements

  • Able to multitask and prioritize orders based on projected or confirmed due dates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and word.
  • Proficient in math and good problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Driver’s license with access to a vehicle.

Knowledge/Education

  • Microsoft excel and word
  • Knowledge of AS 400 would be a benefit
  • Knowledge of CAD would be a benefit
  • Grade 12 or higher education
